City Days are a great opportunity to better understand the place where you live and rediscover the paths you take every day. This was no exception, as the sports and recreational portion of the 2017 Będzin Days celebrations concluded with the City Bike Game – Around Będzin! Twenty-three teams participated in this extraordinary adventure, their goal being to reach designated points and complete practical and theoretical tasks as accurately and quickly as possible.
The route was approximately 20 kilometers long and led through various parts of Będzin. Cyclists visited places such as Castle Hill Park, Dorotka Mountain, and the park near Mieroszewski Palace. During the game, participants had the opportunity to try their hand at unicycling, participate in the world's slowest race, test their cycling intuition by drawing individual bike parts from a magic box, and their knowledge by participating in a quiz, and even play bike polo!
Besides the excitement of completing the tasks, there was also a touch of competition, as prizes awaited the best teams! The lucky first-place finishers received (of course!) a bicycle! And those who were right behind them (stepping on their tires) received other interesting and practical gifts.
