The first museum escape room in Upper Silesia is our creation! Gone are the days when museums were impregnable fortresses for visitors, where exhibits were displayed in glass cases or behind various barbed wire, hidden behind a sign, sometimes larger than the exhibits, reading "DO NOT TOUCH!" Today, more and more interactive museums and exhibitions are being created, open to visitors. These museums can not only brilliantly present historical events but also offer much more. They allow visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of bygone times, places, and events. This makes young people, especially young people, much more eager to visit such places! This is precisely the idea behind the exhibition "Unforgettable: Women during the Uprisings and Plebiscite in Upper Silesia," and the phenomenal historical escape room that accompanies it.
Both the room's scenario and the installations and arrangements within it were designed and executed by Cudotwórnia ! As a special-purpose company, we know well that nothing teaches history like a journey back in time ! This was precisely our goal when creating the " Insurgents' Hideout " room.
The museum's escape room is styled as a living room from the early 20th century. Inside, you'll find a large kitchen with a beautiful white bench, among other things, and a bedroom. The room's interior is filled with authentic antique furniture and objects of historical value . This unique escape room allows you to experience the atmosphere of a world that existed 100 years ago!
Upon entering the room, groups have 45 minutes to solve a series of puzzles. They must demonstrate historical knowledge, logical thinking, and above all, as was the case during the Silesian Uprisings, the ability to work together . All of this will lead them to a hidden cache containing, among other things, uprising documents.
This room, full of historical tidbits and curiosities, offers a unique insight into the lives of women in those times. It also helps us learn about the history of Upper Silesia during the uprisings and the plebiscite. This will help visitors better remember the outstanding figures and events presented in the exhibition.
There's nothing better than entertainment combined with knowledge delivered in a unique and engaging way. This makes history truly engaging! A visit like this is a great idea for a family outing!
Preparing the room was quite a challenge for us, as it had to be historically accurate . Furthermore, the bar was set very high, as this was the first installation of its kind in Upper Silesia!
