This year's golden Polish autumn came to an end exceptionally quickly. But does this mean the end of the corporate event season? Nothing could be further from the truth. Most events will move indoors to conference rooms, ballrooms, or restaurants. Are we doomed to this? And if so, is it possible to prevent the event from feeling like a failure? Read on! A corporate event in winter doesn't have to be doomed to failure!
First of all, there is no bad weather, only bad clothing!
Many companies shy away from organizing winter events – because the weather is unpredictable, because people will get cold, because, because, because… It all depends on attitude. Believe us, event participants will feel more uncomfortable in summer when a sudden storm arrives and they get soaked than in winter when a sudden snowfall…appears at minus five degrees. In those cases, everyone is prepared for the "massacre" and dressed appropriately. With good activities, ample access to hot drinks, and a place to warm themselves by the fire, the snow will only make it more enjoyable!
What's there to do? Another sleigh ride? Not necessarily. Maybe a Yeti-tracking expedition? Or exploring the icy deserts of Antarctica, inhospitable to human foot? We won't force you to travel to the ends of the earth – it's just an idea for a script :). What matters is that the plot is intriguing!
Secondly – get into the role!
Okay, okay, you say. Winter is traditionally a time for company Christmas parties and carnival balls. These can be held outdoors, but let's be clear – 99% of them take place indoors. So what then?
Play. But what? A flute piece? No. A role. Organize a party not only with costumes but also with activities related to the theme . An example? Here you go. Let's say you're undercover cops. Silent Unseen. Aces of various intelligence agencies. KGB, Mossad, CIA, MI6. During a secret annual convention, you choose the best agency among yourselves in a series of competitions. Shooting, code-breaking, reflexes, knowledge – these are just some of the elements we'll be testing!
Third – invite someone!
Not in the mood for dressing up? All's not lost yet. A visit from a celebrity … maybe a comedian. An hour-long private performance will have everyone laughing, lighten the mood, and show them that winter can be a lot of fun.

Fourth – take it easy.
Corporate events are often a time of tension, tension, and artificiality. What do you do with your friends on winter evenings? Do you dress up? Probably not. Maybe we should approach the topic with a completely relaxed approach and treat company bonding without putting a stick in the middle of the fun :). Just go out for a beer . Just like with friends.
Fifth – try something new.
If you have to be confined to your own four walls, why not broaden your horizons? And we're not talking about a slideshow from your boss's latest trip :). We were thinking, for example, about culinary horizons. A joint cooking class is a great idea for a smaller team-building event. If you're more than one person, nothing's lost. A good sommelier or taster will take you on a journey through the flavors of not only wines but also beers and other spirits. Such a journey, combined with a culinary feast, is incredibly valuable for our employees.
