Later, people said that day was unusually warm and sunny for early March. They may not have known that unusual things were happening in Konin that day… all because of a certain unusual birthday…
The whole story began as such stories usually do: on a birthday. And Gandalf the Grey knew the power that lies dormant within a person on the anniversary of their birth. Therefore, he asked Edith for help. She answered his request and helped him find nine magical rings. Ancient Elvish, Dwarven, and Human spells were no obstacle for Edith.
Did it work? Well… since central Poland doesn't resemble a 200-kilometer-long crater, we can assume so. Together, Edith and Gandalf saved the unsuspecting inhabitants of Konin from the Darkness and eternal damnation. And there was no end to the fun and frolics that followed.
