At a time when Dąbrowa Górnicza was growing into an industrial powerhouse, Rockeseller arrived in the city – an unknown, somewhat silent man. As it quickly turned out, he had an uncanny knack for making money! Within a few years, he amassed a considerable fortune. Many of Rockeseller's associates were delighted when they learned that the wealthy entrepreneur had fallen seriously ill. Some even tried to "help" him through his illness. Rockeseller, seeing through his greedy associates' intentions, hid his wealth so that no one would find it. For those who wanted to strike it rich, he prepared a series of surprises and puzzles to see which of them would be worthy of his gold! Thus began our city game in Dąbrowa Górnicza!
On May 27th, 22 teams set off from the city center to search for Rockeseller's gold! Our participants ran, walked, and cycled to various locations where they completed various tasks. As we know, Rockeseller was a rather stingy but meticulous person, so nothing in his life could be wasted. Therefore, in one of the tasks, participants had to, for example, separate poppy seeds from flax seeds. This was done to learn about his habits and personality traits, and to begin to think like him, in order to find the treasure he had hidden.
The teams also completed a series of other skill, dexterity, and logic puzzles to determine the smartest and most persistent among them—in short, those worthy of Rockeseller's fortune. Everyone was incredibly motivated and engaged (at least as if they were searching for treasure or gold!), but only the best could prevail!
What were their struggles like and what did they encounter along the way? Below, we'll reveal a little! We can't reveal everything, as that knowledge belongs to the victors. Besides, who knows... maybe in time it will turn out that Rockeseller left something else behind in Dąbrowa Górnicza (or the surrounding area).
