You slowly enter the courtyard of the Royal Castle in Warsaw and see the royal tent. Without thinking, you approach closer, and your surprise only grows greater. Your eyes widen as you hear voices coming from inside and comments like, "I have four bottles of perfume," "I found something in the globe," "These chess pieces must mean something." And then you look to the side and see the "Lost Jewels of the Vasas" and people in unusual costumes... You've just stumbled upon our historic escape room!
This is roughly what most people saw as they entered the courtyard of the seat of Polish kings in November 2019. Those more in the know headed briskly towards our mobile escape room. This is the third unique promotional opportunity we've offered to promote the Year of the Vasa. We weren't surprised that the residents of Warsaw loved the escape room idea *, and we were able to start booking entries without hesitation. Due to the growing popularity of this type of entertainment in Poland, within a few days of opening registration, we already had over 150 participants… The Lost Jewels of the Vasas were open to groups from November 14th to 21st. The room was also prepared to accommodate English-speaking groups, as the Castle attracts a large number of foreign tourists.
If you are curious about the plot, our historical escape room was styled as a tent of a traveling troupe of actors who were invited to the royal court of actors for TrapIt so happened that at the same time, a theft was occurring at the Castle! The ruler's suspicion fell on the artists, who had been leaving their tent during rehearsals and performances. The groups took on the roles of courtiers, ordered by the king to find the valuable jewelry before the troupe returned!
We can now officially say it – the royal jewels have been saved!
