Crime Show - an idea for an epic corporate team-building event

Plot

Crime Show is a script inspired by the film "Knives Out" directed by R. Johnson, full of criminal intrigue and family secrets.

The body of Uncle Vernon, co-owner of the prestigious Oakhill Hotel, was found in the hotel library. Police quickly narrowed the suspects to six people who were staying at the hotel that night. Each had their own motive, opportunity, and something to hide.

Sherlock's Less-Clever Cousin joins the investigation and needs your help. The more questions you ask the suspects, the sooner it becomes clear that family conflicts, affairs, fights over fortunes, and hidden secrets create a much more complex story than it might seem.

Tasks

During the investigation, you'll take on the roles of detective teams. You'll analyze case files, interrogate suspects, and uncover clues hidden throughout the hotel.

Waiting for you, among others:

interrogating hotel guests and main suspects,
analysis of case files, hotel maps and evidence,
solving logical puzzles prepared by police technicians,
discovering new clues while searching the hotel rooms,
obtaining information hidden in documents, letters and police notes,
combining all the clues to reconstruct the course of events.

Rules of investigation

You decide which suspects to question first and which leads you consider most credible. Not everyone will tell you the whole truth, and time to gather information is limited.

At the conclusion of the investigation, each team presents its verdict, and all participants decide together who they believe should be convicted. Only then will you learn the full story and see if your judgment was correct.

No, the difficulty level was designed so that people with no experience in this type of games can also actively participate in the investigation.

Will the scenario work at an elegant dinner or gala?
