We're looking for passionate individuals to join our CURIOTEAM as EVENT UNIVERSE MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTs – commonly known as "Ogarniacz" (The Mastermind). 😎
WHO IS THE GUARD?
This person works with us full-time, on a task-based basis and combines the skills of a Customer Service Specialist, Event and Project Manager, and Animator. Sometimes, they also work as Logistics Specialist, Graphic Designer, Social Media Ninja, and… it depends on what the situation calls for. After all, they have to manage the entire event universe. 😉
He's also someone who isn't afraid of challenges. When needed, he'll step into any role… like a wild boar into an acorn. 🐗
Most of our team is from the Silesian Voivodeship (and being there would be a plus), but outside of events, we work 100% remotely, so you can live anywhere. It would be nice if we shared a single time zone.
WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A MIRACLE MAN?
💡 Organize various entertainment events – city and field games, investigations with live actors, mobile escape rooms and other unusual events for our clients.
💡 Contacting clients – from responding to inquiries, through research, building an offer, finalizing details and making pre/post-event arrangements.
💡 Run the event on-site (once you get the hang of our style) – meaning you'll have a team of animators under your command.
💡 During breaks from events, you will be preparing them in front of the computer – from Canva, through email exchanges with clients, the company's Slack, CRM, and ending with a Morse code generator.
💡 Outside of the high season, work conceptually , plan new event programs, build the plot of investigations, but also organize the warehouse with us, or service puzzles.
💡 Do things you might not have dreamed of yet – some of our activities could be described as truly unusual, but more on that below.
💡 Have a great time – and this is confirmed not only by American scientists, but also by our entire staff… and more! 💪
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BECOME A MIRACLE-MAKER?
✅ Proven experience in event organization, animation, social activities (all types of additional activities are welcome: scouting, volunteering, interest groups or other hobby flights to Mars) or customer service.
✅ Great organizational skills.
✅ Own initiative , a dose of creativity and the ability not to panic ,
✅ Observance (e.g. you managed to notice that the point above ends with a comma, not a period).
✅ Flexibility (and I don't mean the ability to do the splits, although that can undoubtedly be your advantage, but the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions at events).
✅ Lack of fear of establishing contact with people, ability to improvise and react quickly.
✅ A willingness to take on different roles – you never know who you'll be playing next. Maybe it'll be Robin Hood, maybe Gandalf, or maybe Chuck Norris. Yes, you play a role at the event too – not just the animators.
✅ Readiness to take on unusual challenges and tasks – from helping to solve puzzles in the Escape Room, through painting children's faces, twisting balloons and arranging large blocks, to pushing Roman's body ( who is Roman?! ) off a rock, staining the room with blood and lurking for people in the darkness.
✅ The ability to read with understanding and act with reason ( we know it's risky, but maybe... ) ;).
✅ A sense of humor and self-distance. 🙌
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE?
⭐ No restrictions on travel, both near and far – we organize events in various corners of Poland. Sometimes, for a 2-hour event, we drive 6 hours one way.
⭐ Category B driving license (used!) and no hesitation in driving rented cars (e.g. Mercedes Sprinter).
⭐ English language at least at a communicative level, preferably B2 / C1.
⭐ Ability to use Canva / Photoshop or other graphics software and a sense of aesthetics.
⭐ Other unusual skills – riding a motorbike, being able to lick your elbow, knowing the elven language or anything else – are always welcome!
WHAT WILL WE GIVE YOU IN RETURN?
💖 Remuneration ( nice, right ? 😎) – monthly base + commission for the event + commission on the effectiveness of the offers (final rates to be agreed, depending on your experience).
💖 Full-time remote work (except for away events).
💖 Flexible work hours – in May, June, September, and October – it's a busy time, and we don't hide it. Outside of these months, we're really easy to get along with. It's no problem if you get a vet appointment during "standard business hours" or visit your grandma (hug from us!). We have a very task-oriented approach. Once everything is taken care of, we won't sit and stare at each other in an online meeting.
💖 Employment based on a contract of mandate or B2B – according to your preferences. If you really want it, you can also get a UOP contract… but you probably understand that the rate in this case will be lower than B2B.
💖 Working in a steadily growing company ( we know it's cliché, but let's be honest - we're growing year by year, we survived the pandemic disaster in the event industry and came out of it with really good online events ), in a really relaxed atmosphere ( if we wanted to be tense, we wouldn't be doing such cool things, besides, check out the "about us" tab )
